How do you send your orders? Orders are sent using the most cost effective and reliable method suitable to the customer. Orders are calculated on weight and size. Methods include:
Couriers Please for local and some intersate deliveries
TNT Express via Road or Overnight depending on size
Australia Post Registered
Express Post is also available, however, past experiences has shown
that this method has a number of downsides and as there is no insurance.
Drop ship, where available directly from the supplier to you via AAE, StarTack Express or Toll depending on your location, drop ship can not be sent to PO Boxes..
A default amount based on a 5kg package is automatically generated to give an approximate costing depending on your area - if the freight amount is less or greater than indicated, then you will be advised when the invoice is sent. THE FREIGHT COST INDICATED WHEN MAKING AN ORDER IS A GUIDE and each order can vary depending on quantities ordered and the size of the packaging and the location the order is being sent to and from.

Can I pickup my orders? If you live in Adelaide or the surrounds and you wish to collect, please call or email to confirm that stock is available. When placing and order on the website select the pickup option.

How do I place an order? Click on the BUY link beside the product and fill in the details in the forms as required. If you want more than one, change the quantity. If you wish to cancel that item, enter a zero value and press recalculate. Once the order has been sent you will receive an email back confirming your order. PLEASE NOTE: This is not the invoice, it is simply a confirmation of receipt of your order. Once the order is received will process the order and end you a Tax Invoice, which will look similar to this:

Once payment has been received the order wil be dispatched

Will you refund my order? Products purchased are non-returnable if a special order or once opened or after seven (7) days. A 20% restocking fee is chargeable on returned goods. Refunds will not be given if a customer:
simply change their minds, decide they do not like the goods or have no use for them
have discovered they can buy the goods cheaper elsewhere
had the defect drawn to their attention before buying (e.g. when the goods were labelled as seconds and faults were clearly marked), or
damaged the good by unreasonable or unintended use.
The amount refunded does not include freight costs and should prices drop (as is often the case in the computer industry after your purchase) the refund will be based on the currect price.

Warranty returns Please return the faulty unit only, ie DO NOT include cables, manuals, power adaptors etc. unless specifically asked to do so. Warranties published or implied refer to manufacturer's warranty. Physical damage voids warranty. The cost of any return is the responsibility of the buyer. A charge will be applied if the unit is tested and found not to be faulty.

What are my payment options? There is a fair choice to suit a majority of people. See below. The preferred choice is PayPal or Direct Deposit (EFT) but you can pay an Invoice with Credit Card if you prefer. Credit card transactions are free of additional charges, except AMEX add a 3% admin fee to cover bank costs. Other options are Australia Post Money order, cash or cheque. Unless I personally know you, all cheques must clear before the order it sent.

Do you do repairs? Yes, I diagnose and repair most PC faults, including startup, bsod and other issues, plus remove virus and adware infections. Repairs to Printers, Monitors etc are done by external parties.

- Couriers Please- for Local, Country and Interstate deliveries. In most cases this will be a same day delivery (for local), next day Melb/Sydney, 2-5 days for most other areas. Local courier is $10 in Adelaide Metro area (up to 20kg), $15 5kg satchel to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth Metro postcodes as serviced by Couriers Please. Quotes for courier to other areas are available on request.

- Drop Ship, where possible to use, the drop ship allows an order to be sent directly from a supplier to the customer thus reducing time to get the order to the customer. This depends on the product and the supplier as not all suppliers participate in this program. We can not drop ship a multiple item order from different suppliers as one order. These can be sent via AAE, Toll or StarTrack Express depending on the suppliers favoured method.

Ownership of goods remains with MATS SYSTEMS and does not transfer until payment is received in full and/or until cheque's have cleared.
Charges In store: Free quote for repairs, ie bring your PC to MATS Systems, the fault will be assessed at no cost and will advise of the cost of repair. There is no obligation to proceed with the advice given.
Computer problems due to Warranty issues will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge.
Computer problems deemed not to be the responsibility of MATS SYSTEMS or outside the Warranty period will be repaired and/or replaced at $30 half hour (inc GST), not including parts. No fix, no charge!
The cost of freight for warranty returns is the responsibility of the customer.
All Systems include a 12 month RTB Parts Warranty. Extended warranty is available through United Electrical Engineering with upto 5 years onsite warranty available covering Parts and Labour.
Charges Callout: Standard call out fee for home customers is $60.00 (inc GST), which covers areas within 5kms of our location and includes the first 30 mins at your premises. Rates increase according to distance travelled. Rate is then $20 per 15 mins while onsite. Business callout are charged at $90.00 (inc GST) for the first 30 mins and $20 per 15 mins. Remote connection repairs are charged at $45 per hour.
